Tracking Business Value Through Data Integration on Manitoba Hydro’s New Chatbot

Aligned with its strategic foundation of serving customers responsively, efficiently and digitally, Manitoba Hydro’s first virtual assistant (chatbot) successfully launched in July 2023. The focus on the first iteration of the chatbot is to help provide the customer a guided self-service experience, reducing customer effort and minimizing the number of customers that need to contact a live agent for information that is available through existing digital channels.

This project has been recognized with a Silver Award for Digital Experience in Chartwell's 2024 Best Practices Awards.
