Chelan PUD Uses Email to Improve Outage Notifications During Pandemic

With more customers at home during the pandemic, Chelan PUD recognized its planned outages would have a greater impact on customers, potentially affecting their ability to work and study from home. To better support its customers, the utility improved its planned outage notifications by developing timely emails that offer outage details, resources and preparation advice.
