Despite the complexities of gas restorations — requiring individual meter shutdowns and relights — Avista mobilized a massive, strategically coordinated effort. They leveraged electric outage planning and fostered innovative collaboration with 800 Avista employees, 300 mutual assistance personnel, and 60 HVAC contractors. This impressive coordination led to service restoration for nearly all customers within just six days, showcasing their commitment to safety and efficiency in a crisis.
