Keynote: SCE Sharpens the Saw of Excellence, 2021 Chartwell Award Winner
Southern California Edison has won Chartwell’s Best Practices Awards for the past two years for projects that improved wildfire communications, business customer relations and field technology and training. But the company isn’t resting on its laurels. Southern California Edison is developing a five-year roadmap to identify gaps in its outage communications process even as it implements outage communications in 19 languages, replaces its Outage Management System (OMS) and implements a new enterprise customer relationship and billing system.
This year, SCE took home Chartwell’s Sustained Leadership in Outage Communications Award for the utility’s longtime commitment to ongoing improvements.
