SDG&E Develops Digital Platform to Strengthen Wildfire Prevention

As part of an overarching investment in wildfire prevention safety, San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) has implemented a Wildfire Next Generation System (WiNGS). WiNGS blends a visual depiction of infrastructure assets with real-time prevention data, empowering SDG&E to optimize operational planning and prioritize wildfire prevention efforts. This innovative project earned SDG&E a Silver Award for Excellence in Outage Operations.
