Chartwell's 2025 Excellence in Customer Transformational Leadership Award Entry Form

    Chartwell’s Award for Excellence in Customer Transformational Leadership recognizes a utility operating in the United States or Canada that has undertaken groundbreaking efforts to lead its customers and stakeholders toward the clean-energy future, as well as the individuals in executive leadership positions who are the driving force behind those initiatives.

    The award will be presented at a ceremony during the 28th annual Chartwell’s EMACS: The Customer Experience Conference, set for Oct. 7-9, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas.

    Rules:

    1. Entries are limited to one per utility.

    2. Some or all of the effort should have been undertaken between January 2024 and the May 2025.

    3. Submissions require a detailed description (1,800 words maximum in PDF or Word format) that includes the following:

    - A history of the initiative including significant dates, major participants, and target audience.
    - The goals and results, including how results were measured.
    - The facts and features making the effort innovative and unique.
    - How the initiative meets the criteria for the respective award, as outlined above.
    - The reason it should win the award.

    Utilities may upload supporting components along with the submission form, such as print or digital advertisements, video/audio files, social media posts and photographs.
    Chartwell will announce the award winner and coordinate associated marketing with the utility in advance of the presentation at the EMACS Conference.

    4. Entry is being submitted by a utility professional with an electric, gas, or water utility who currently holds a position with the utility company that appears on the entry form.

    5. Current utility leadership has given permission to have this entry submitted for the Excellence in Customer Transformational Leadership Award.

    6. The utility understands that by submitting this award entry, you are agreeing to have an executive representative from your utility present at the conference to accept the award on stage. Should the utility be unable to attend the conference to accept their award, Chartwell reserves the right to present the award to an alternate submission.

    7. The utility understands that by submitting this award entry, the utility agrees that if your utility is the winner, the sponsoring executive and/or representative(s) of utility leadership will present your program in a keynote address at the EMACS conference. Should your utility be unable to commit to presenting, Chartwell reserves the right to present the award to an alternate submission.

    8. The utility understands that no vendors will be allowed to accept an award on their behalf or be present on stage during a presentation about the award should the utility be asked to speak at EMACS or on a Chartwell webinar.

    9. Award entries will become the property of Chartwell, Inc. and may be displayed or distributed during EMACS or for Chartwell members on Chartwell’s websites.
