Consumers Energy’s AutoETR Improves Customer Communications and Expedites Restoration

Consumers Energy has implemented an automated outage restoration prediction process leveraging a custom machine learning prediction model. This process yielded the creation of automated estimated times of restoration (ETRs) which resulted in thousands of hours of manual labor savings while significantly expediting and improving ETR delivery to customers.

This program won Consumers Energy Silver in Chartwell's Outage Best Practices Awards for Outage Communications.
