ComEd’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Modernizes Outage Operations

ComEd has launched an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program featuring a drone fleet that is producing real-time data to strengthen utility operations. The utility’s fleet, consisting of more than 75 aircraft and 51 pilots, provides image analytics for outage damage assessment and live streaming to accelerate situational awareness.
