SRP Helps Customers Avoid Disconnections with Safety Net Program

The SRP Safety Net program allows any customer to designate a friend or family member as an additional contact to be notified if their electric bill ever becomes past due. The program is particularly popular among longtime and retirement-age customers: 88% of Safety Net participants have been SRP customers for more than 10 years, and 38% of the program participants are over the age of 65.
