ComEd’s Area Restoration Management Teams Fast-Track Outage Operations
To address increasing severe weather storm threats, ComEd formed Area Restoration Management Teams more than two decades ago. Each specialized team is trained to serve severe storm-impacted regions and aid in localized oversight to facilitate expedited restoration, ticket volume reduction, crew productivity, and accurate generation of estimated times of restoration. The teams are successfully expediting restoration for ComEd as well as fellow utilities through mutual aid assistance.
