Empowering Customers: FortisBC’s Journey “Beyond the Bill”

Recognizing that for many customers the bill represents their primary interaction with the company, FortisBC launched the "Beyond the Bill" project to create innovative paper and digital billing options. The primary vision was to enhance the customer experience by placing customer needs and expectations at the forefront. FortisBC wanted to empower customers to make sustainable choices and save energy.

These efforts earned FortisBC Bronze recognition in Chartwell’s 2023 Best Practices Awards.
