Con Edison Develops Collections System to Make In-Field Payments Easier

Representatives for New York-based Con Edison began seeing a need over the past few years to speed up the flow of inbound payments in the field, while also increasing employee safety and positively impacting customer satisfaction. The company launched its Credit Card in the Field Project in 2021 as a way to begin accepting credit/debit payments from customers at their homes or businesses.

Their efforts earned them Silver recognition in Chartwell’s 2023 Best Practices Awards.
