FortisBC Responds to Concerns Around Educational Curriculum

Through its Energy Leaders educational program, FortisBC offers free, ready-to-use lessons about energy, conservation, and safety for K-12 students. Although successful and well-received by educators, the program also drew negative media attention when organizations raised concerns about corporate materials and climate change bias in classrooms. The company is taking action by working closely with educators and environmental non-profit organizations to revamp its materials and address concerns.
