CPS Energy’s Energy2Business Initiative Raises Awareness, Satisfaction
With customer metrics and expectations shifting, utilities that recognize and address these changes are the ones poised to be most successful. This is especially true for efforts focused on business customers. When CPS Energy discovered that its small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers lacked the support they expected, the utility understood the importance of responding quickly and thoughtfully. The utility created the Energy2Business (E2B) initiative, focused on on informing SMB customers of resources available to them and simplifying access to those resources.
This effort earned CPS Energy Bronze recognition in Chartwell’s 2025 Best Practices Awards for Excellence in Serving Business Customers.
