Con Edison Uses Outreach and Education to Help Vulnerable Customers with Arrears

The pandemic brought historic impacts across industries, including an unprecedented increase in arrears for utility customers. Con Edison responded by investigating how the organization could help vulnerable customers. Its efforts, in the form of a special program with expedited implementation, resulted in relief for hundreds of thousands of customers.

These efforts earned Con Edison Silver recognition in Chartwell’s 2023 Best Practices Awards.
