BGE’s Influencer Campaign Shines Light on Energy Efficiency

For more than a decade, Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) has been working to help its 1.3 million electric and 680,000 gas customers reduce their energy consumption and costs at home. BGE offers a range of programs, from discounts on ENERGY STAR® certified appliances to home energy audits and appliance recycling services. In its pursuit of innovative approaches to connecting with customers, BGE launched a social media influencer campaign with four local influencers to raise awareness of the Smart Energy Savers Program and encourage participation in a dynamic and engaging manner.

These efforts earned BGE Bronze recognition in Chartwell’s 2023 Best Practices Awards.
