Frequently Asked Questions:

• What are the details for the hotel?

  Our host for Chartwell’s PowerUp Conference is the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®, located at:

  6677 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, FL 32821

   

  We are pleased to offer a discounted room rate of $254 per night (inclusive of resort fee) plus applicable taxes in effect at the time of check in.

   

  **The cutoff date to book a room at our host hotel is Friday, May 10th, 2024.**

   

  The link to reserve your room is located in your conference registration confirmation email.

   

  If you need to cancel or alter your reservation for any reason after booking, please be sure to do so no later than 7 days prior to your arrival to avoid cancellation or no-show penalties.

   

  Complimentary offerings at our host hotel include:

  – Daily Scheduled Shuttle Service to: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, Universal Studios

  – Daily Enhanced Wireless Internet in Guest Room

  – One Time Welcome Resort Beverage Resort Beverage, two coupons per room, per stay (Beer/Wine)

  – Daily Basic Wireless Internet in Convention & Meeting Space

  – Complimentary access to the 24-hour fitness center

• Is there parking at the conference hotel?

  Yes. Self-parking will be $36 per day. Valet parking is $50. An electric car charging station is available.

• What is the attire for the conference?

  Business casual. Temperatures in conference halls may fluctuate widely. If you are prone to feeling cold you may want to bring along a sweater or jacket.

• What networking opportunities are there?

  In addition to our networking receptions and meals, we’ve scheduled 30-minute breaks each morning and afternoon to give you ample time to interact with fellow utility professionals, conference sponsors and exhibitors.

• Will there be Wi-Fi?

  Yes, there will be complimentary Wi-Fi available in all meeting spaces. Sign-in info will be provided in at the registration desk or ask a Chartwell employee for assistance.

• What if I have a special need, such as a dietary restriction?

  Please let us know as far in advance as possible about any special needs or requests by contacting conferences@chartwellinc.com.

• Will slides be available after the conference?

  Yes, we will email all presentations to attendees within the following week.
