In 2015, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) began the planning process of installing community solar across its service territory, a goal that was initially realized in three cities beginning in 2017 through the introduction of the SunWise Community Solar Program. To communicate the program’s availability, NPPD has utilized a multi-channel approach and polished its messaging based on customer feedback generated through focus groups.
